Riassunto
The program goal is to support the development of local philanthropy and community foundations in Bulgaria. During the grant period, the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation will provide funding to community foundations in Bulgaria to match their locally raised grantmaking funds and strengthen their institutional capacities. In addition, the foundation will support initiative groups with strong potential to develop community foundations in at least three new localities. Also, the foundation will cooperate with the Association of Community Foundations in Bulgaria to promote the concept of community foundations and to increase the level of resources available to them from private and public sources.
