1. Ms. Banse, what are your main duties at Welcomeurope?
I am the Sales representative of the Welcomeurope Training Department, in charge of the presentation of our modules and the follow-up of our clients.
2. How would you describe the type of participants in the Welcomeurope training sessions?
Various profiles register for our training sessions according to their needs. We have:
• directors
• Project managers
• General Assistants
• Councillors
• Financial Managers
• Managers
• Consultants
• Self-contractors
• Lawyers
• Project Assistants
3. How are the training session made available by Welcomeurope perceived by the participants? What are their main requests and comments?
Our trainings are well received by all our participants, from novices to experts. They all consider them a good opportunity to learn about the methodology of project set-up and project management in order to obtain EU subsidies.
The most requested Modules are:
• the general modules 1 : How to acess grants from the European Commission and 2 : How to succeed in managing a European project?
• the structural funds Modules in France (M11 and 13)
• FP7 Modules (Framework Programme for Research and Development) : 5 and 6
• Modules bearing on external cooperation : M7 and M8
4. What are the main Welcomeurope novelties for 2010-2011, in terms of training? When will the new Welcomeurope catalog be launched?
Two new modules will see the day, including :
Module 9: How to access EU funds for sustainable development projects?
Module 10: Prepare your application for grants from the European Programme for Strategic Information Technology & Communication Support (ICT PSP)
In addition, for the new period, 2010-2011, our Modules 1 and 2 will be available in several languages:
• French
• English
• German
• Italian
• Romanian
New training sessions are also planned, besides Paris and Brussels, in:
• London (M1-M2)
• Budapest (M1-M2)
• Bucharest (M1-M2)
• Milan (M1-M2) (M11-M12)
• Berlin (M1-M2)
• Abidjan (M7)
The new catalog will be available end of July.
5. Why would you advise Welcomeurope training sessions?
Our training sessions have the advantage of being complete and professional, with an accessible content. They are in line with the standards and principles required by the European Commission in editing and project management.
In addition, we have a team of experts combining theoretical and practical skills which is very useful during discussions with the participants.
